PRIVACY POLICY
Your information.
Handled with care.
HOUSEINK Studio LLC collects only the personal information it needs to answer enquiries, run projects and improve this website. It never sells your information, and you can ask to see, correct or delete it at any time.
HOUSEINK Studio LLC (“HOUSEINK Studio,” “we,” “us” or “our”) is committed to protecting your information. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how we collect, use, protect and share personal information when you visit houseinkstudio.com (the “Website”), contact us, receive our emails, follow our social media pages or work with us on a project.
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we change the “Last updated” date above, and if the changes are significant we will make that clear on the Website. We recommend checking this page from time to time.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we only share it as described in this Policy. If you are not comfortable with any part of this Policy, please stop using the Website and contact us with any questions.
1. Policy scope
This Policy applies to personal information we collect through the Website, our enquiry form, email, phone, social media and our general business communications. HOUSEINK Studio LLC is a creative design studio based in the Tampa Bay area of Florida, and it is the business responsible for your personal information under this Policy.
When we deliver work for a client, the handling of project materials and any personal information inside them is governed by that client’s written agreement with us. Where that agreement and this Policy differ, the agreement controls for that project.
This Policy does not cover websites, platforms or services run by other companies, even if we link to them. Their own privacy policies apply.
2. Key terms
- Personal information means information that identifies, relates to or could reasonably be linked to you, such as your name, email address or IP address.
- Service providers are companies that process personal information on our behalf to help us run the studio, under contracts that limit how they can use it.
- Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. “Similar technologies” include pixels, local storage and scripts that do the same job.
- Client means a business that has signed a written agreement with HOUSEINK Studio for creative services.
3. Personal information you provide
We collect the information you choose to share with us, for example when you:
- Complete the enquiry form: your name, email address, company or website, the service you are interested in, your timing and the details of your project.
- Email, call or message us: your contact details and anything you include in the message, call or attached files.
- Work with us on a project: contact and billing details for you and your team, project briefs, feedback, brand materials and files you send us.
- Sign up for emails: your email address, name and your email preferences.
- Interact with us on social media: your public profile name and the content of comments or messages you send to our pages.
Please don’t send passwords, payment card numbers, health information or other sensitive information through the enquiry form or by email. We do not ask for this information on the Website.
4. Personal information automatically collected
When you visit the Website, some information is collected automatically by our tools and service providers:
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the Website is used. It records pages viewed, time on page, how you arrived (for example, from a search engine or social post), device and browser type, screen size, language and approximate location (city or region, based on IP address). We have turned off Google signals and advertising personalization, and we do not use Google Analytics to identify you personally. When your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, Google Analytics does not load.
Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider, Hostinger, keeps log files when you visit. These include your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring and exit pages, the pages requested, and the date and time. Logs are used to keep the Website secure, investigate misuse and fix technical problems.
Web fonts. Some of the Website’s fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. To deliver them, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address and browser information.
Spam protection on the enquiry form. Our contact page uses Google reCAPTCHA v3 and Brevo’s form script to check that enquiries come from people, not bots. reCAPTCHA looks at information such as your IP address, browser and device details, and how you interact with the page, and sends it to Google to produce a risk score. It runs only on the contact page and is used only for security. Google’s Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab) and Terms of Service (opens in a new tab) apply to reCAPTCHA.
Email engagement. If you receive emails from us through Brevo, Brevo may record whether an email was delivered and opened and which links were clicked. See “Email communications” below.
We do not use session-replay tools, heat maps or advertising pixels on the Website, and we do not use fingerprinting for tracking or advertising.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
The Website uses a small number of cookies, only for analytics. We do not use advertising or social media tracking cookies.
Cookie Provider Purpose Duration _ga Google Analytics Distinguishes visitors so visits can be counted 2 years _ga_JZRBGM02JJ Google Analytics Keeps track of the current visit (session) 2 years Your choices. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the Website will keep working. You can opt out of Google Analytics on every website with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout (opens in a new tab). If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we don’t load Google Analytics at all.
Contact page only. When you open our contact page, Google reCAPTCHA and Brevo’s form script load to protect the enquiry form from spam. reCAPTCHA may set or read Google cookies and similar technologies for this security purpose. These tools do not load anywhere else on the Website, and their use is covered by Google’s and Brevo’s privacy policies.
6. Information from other sources
We may receive or look up business information about you from other sources, such as:
- People who refer you to us or introduce us
- Public sources, such as your company website or public professional profiles, when we prepare for a conversation or proposal
- Social media platforms, when you interact with our pages, according to your settings on those platforms
We do not buy personal information or contact lists.
7. How we use personal information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to you: reply to enquiries, arrange calls and answer questions
- Provide our services: prepare proposals, deliver projects, share files and reviews, invoice and manage our client relationships
- Communicate with you: send project updates, and emails or updates you have asked to receive
- Improve the Website: understand which pages are useful, fix problems and plan new content
- Keep things secure: protect the Website, our systems and our clients, and prevent spam, fraud and misuse
- Meet legal obligations: keep tax and accounting records, respond to lawful requests and enforce our agreements
We do not use your personal information to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you. We do not use information you send through the Website to train artificial intelligence models.
8. Legal bases for processing (EEA and UK visitors)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Contract: to take steps you ask for before entering an agreement with us, and to perform that agreement
- Legitimate interests: to run, secure and improve the studio and the Website, and to respond to business enquiries, where those interests are not overridden by your rights
- Consent: for marketing emails and, where required by law, for analytics cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation: to keep records and respond to lawful requests
9. Email communications
We use Brevo to store enquiries and send emails. We only send marketing emails to people who have asked to receive them or, where the law allows, to business contacts we have worked with. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to stop at hello@houseinkstudio.com.
Brevo may use small tracking images and tracked links to tell us whether an email was delivered or opened and which links were clicked. We use this only to understand which emails are useful. You can limit it by turning off automatic image loading in your email app.
Even if you unsubscribe from marketing emails, we may still send messages about an enquiry or project you are involved in.
10. How we share personal information
We share personal information only with the service providers that help us run the studio, and only as much as they need to do their job:

11. No sale or targeted advertising
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising (targeted advertising based on your activity across other websites). We have not done so in the past 12 months. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
12. How long we keep personal information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this Policy:
- Enquiries that don’t become projects: up to three years after our last contact
- Client and project records: for the length of the relationship and as long afterwards as tax, accounting and legal obligations require, usually seven years
- Email subscribers: until you unsubscribe, then only a suppression record so we don’t email you again
- Google Analytics data: 14 months
- Server logs: according to Hostinger’s standard retention
When we no longer need personal information, we delete it or keep it only in a form that no longer identifies you.
13. How we protect personal information
We take reasonable administrative, technical and physical steps to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the Website, reputable service providers, strong passwords and two-factor authentication on our accounts, and limiting access to people who need it.
No website, transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities where the law requires it.
14. International transfers
HOUSEINK Studio is based in the United States, and our service providers may store and process personal information in the United States, the European Union and other countries. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses offered by our providers.
15. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access: know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy, including in a portable format
- Correction: ask us to correct inaccurate information
- Deletion: ask us to delete your information
- Opt out: of marketing emails at any time, and of the sale of personal information, targeted advertising or profiling (we don’t do these)
- Restriction and objection: ask us to limit or stop certain processing (EEA and UK)
- Withdraw consent: where we rely on your consent
- Non-discrimination: not be treated differently for exercising your rights
Some rights have exceptions, for example when we must keep records to meet a legal obligation. If we can’t fully meet a request, we will explain why.
16. How to make a privacy request
To make a request, email hello@houseinkstudio.com or call +1 (813) 603-0793. Please tell us which right you want to use and how we can reach you.
- Verification: to protect your information, we will confirm your identity first, usually by checking details we already hold, such as your email address.
- Authorized agents: someone you authorize can make a request on your behalf. We may ask for proof of that authorization and to verify your identity directly.
- Timing: we will respond within 45 days, or within the time your local law requires. If we need more time, we will tell you why.
- Appeals: if we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision. We will respond to appeals within the time the law requires. If you are not satisfied, you may contact your state attorney general or, in the EEA or UK, your data protection authority.
Requests are free. We may decline requests that are clearly unfounded or excessive.
17. Notice for U.S. state residents
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Florida and other states with privacy laws may have the rights described above. This section gives the additional details some of those laws require. In the past 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information:
Category Examples Source Disclosed to Identifiers Name, email address, phone number, IP address You; your device Service providers Professional information Company name, website, role You; public sources Service providers Commercial information Services you are interested in, project and billing details You Service providers; professional advisers Internet activity Pages viewed, referring pages, browser and device type, email engagement Your device; Google Analytics; Brevo Service providers Approximate location City or region based on IP address (not precise location) Your device Service providers We use these categories for the purposes in “How we use personal information” and keep them as described in “How long we keep personal information.” We do not collect sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you, and we do not sell or share personal information.

Nevada. We do not sell covered information as defined under Nevada law.
18. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. When your browser sends a GPC signal, Google Analytics does not load, and we treat the signal as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information.
There is no common industry standard for “Do Not Track” browser signals, so the Website does not respond to them separately. The GPC signal covers the same choice.
19. Children’s privacy
The Website is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us at hello@houseinkstudio.com and we will delete it.
20. Third-party websites and social media
The Website links to other websites and platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and the brands and tools featured in our articles. When you follow those links or interact with our pages on those platforms, the other company’s privacy policy and settings apply. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
21. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy as our services, tools or the law change. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will make that clear on the Website or, where appropriate, let you know by email. Earlier versions are available on request.
